Dramatic and Comedic Monologue ideas for a female role from any two different plays. Any ideas?
in regards to the dramatic monologue, I would further appreciate a play which has been made into a movie so that I have some guidance for the development of the role.

- I read through a bunch just now, and here are two that I liked a lot. The first link is for a funny one. Character: Sarah Goodman, Gender: Female, Age (range): Early 20s, Style: Comedy, Length: 2 minutes, Topic: A.A. The second one is about... Character: Rose, Gender: Female, Age (range): 20-50, Style: Drama, Length: 2 minutes. It seems like a fun one to act out. Good Luck!
- The mnologues you choose really depend on your age, your type & your skill set. There are millions of plays out there & the best way to pick a monologue that will suit you is to read them. You can take the short cut & use a movie, but you'll just end up trying to copy what's already been done rather than develop your own style. Good advice from an old sage.
