does anyone know of any good dramatic monologues that are from published plays?
im re-auditioning for my advanced drama class and I need some suggestions. They HAVE to be from a published play and preferably dramatic! thanks!

- Well, there's always Hamlet's Soliloquy. There are hundreds of monologues in Shakespeare, both in the comedies and the tragedies. If you want something more modern, go to the library drama section and pull out almost any play and you'll find a dramatic monologue.
- Henry V at the siege of Harfleur...... "Once more unto the breach, dear friends".......and so on.
- try searching this site http://www.actorpoint.com/free_monologues/0a.html it lists monologues by age range and length
- Salieri's monologue about mediocrities from the end of Amadeus. It's really impressive if you do it well. Good luck!
